REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The Town of Foster, RI is accepting bids for approximately 2000 tons of gravel (as funds allow) per specifications, to be purchased at various times throughout the year and delivered to the Town Highway Garage or picked up at site, please bid both.
All sealed bids must be delivered to the Foster Town Clerk, and stamped received at the Foster Town Hall, 181 Howard Hill Road, Foster, RI 02825, no later than 1:00 p.m. on September 25, 2021. The bids will be opened at that time and awarded at the next FOSTER TOWN COUNCIL MEETING.
BID WILL CONTAIN ONE (1) ORIGINAL AND THREE (3) COPIES IN A SEALED ENVELOPE AND MARKED CLEARLY WITH PROJECT TITLE.
The Town of Foster reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or any portion thereof.
Gravel Specifications
1 ½” crushed stone with a minimum 10% stone dust binder
Gravel must conform to the following specification:

• One (1) original and three (3) copies of the proposal in a sealed envelope clearly labeled ROAD GRAVEL.
• A labeled one gallon bucket sample
• Three (3) references where product has been applied to gravel roads

The Town of Foster reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or any portion thereof.
Contract may be extended annually by mutual agreement between both parties at original contract terms.
