Description
The City of Pawtucket is seeking a partner to assist with the creation of a public Wi-Fi network or networks in areas of the City critical to economic development and commerce. It is the goal of the City to have publicly available fast, free, reliable and secure Wi-Fi which can be utilized by residents, customers, and visitors on a regular basis. The goal of this initiative is to support business development and make Pawtucket a more attractive place to start and grow a business while providing a free amenity to patrons and visitors to enhance their experience in Pawtucket. The eventual contract will provide for an initial 2-year project term to launch, test, and evaluate Wi-Fi implementation with two optional three (3) year contract extensions at the discretion of the City. The selected contractor must provide reporting on the project locations in compliance with SLFRF requirements by the U. S. Department of the Treasury.
