| The purpose of this project is to create a secure site and prepare the area for future phase of work. The project is funded by the City of Pawtucket, with support from other state agencies. The administration of the construction phase of the project will be managed by the City of Pawtucket.
The Project involves site preparation activities to ready the site for future phases of work to be conducted by both the City of Pawtucket and private parties. Work for this contract includes limited cutting, removal and disposal of isolated trees as well as the pruning of trees, and the removal understory brush as necessary to create construction entrances to the site and to give access to interior areas of the site as well as to allow for the
installation of perimeter construction fencing and access gates.
Primary elements of the work include minor saw-cutting and pavement removal, installing construction entrances/tracking pads, installing construction fencing and gates, removal of on-site biohazard materials and anthropogenic debris such as rubbish and urban refuse as well as but not limited to tents, mattresses, bags, plastic tarps, furniture, appliances, pallets, shopping carts, tires, metal, wood and glass as well as biohazard materials s.
